In Pre-searing there are 2 Elementalist trainers besides the primary trainer that starts you off with the skills you listed. Ravena Stormbringer is in Foible's Fair and Azuire is at the tower in Wizard's Folly. They will each give you a couple of skills.

Postponing your acceptance of a second profession has nothing to do with your ele skills. You should do all the secondary quests though, to try them out (and get xp from them) before accepting one.

I think what the OP is confusing is "getting your secondary class" and "having to get your secondary class before Sir Tydus will let you join the Academy".
If you accept your secondary class, you are then able, not required to go to Sir Tydus at the top of the hill and "leave everything behind". If you do this before collecting all the free training available as described by other posters, you miss out a bit, that's all. The skills will be available to purchase on "the other side", but will cost you skill points, if you want them. You won't have gained the XP from the quests these trainers set, however. |

To be honest it doesnt matter the order. But i must say that ele skills are VERY good. so get them for the side quests. and on the side quests whatever you do MAKE SURE you do the side quests. unless you want to be a low level char and only do main quests you need the side quests. anyway if u farm the stuff you get from drops you can be a rich bastard
